Each of the following projects is among the College’s top priorities for raising funds and resources.
- ED Tech
Kaye Academic College of Education is setting up a digital learning space that will upgrade teaching methods and curricula by integrating innovative, groundbreaking, and advanced educational technologies. The learning space will be equipped with top-tier technologies, including simulators, virtual reality headsets, immersive walls and rooms, and more.
- Academy for Hebrew as a Second Language
Through this initiative, the College aims to help young adults from the Bedouin community overcome the Hebrew language barrier. A large percentage of high school graduates in Bedouin society possess a very low level of Hebrew proficiency. For this reason, many are unable to get accepted into institutions of higher education or enter the workforce. “Language is a bridge to success,” and therefore the College seeks to provide advanced Hebrew language training to young Bedouins wishing to enroll in academic frameworks, as well as to graduates seeking to integrate into the teaching profession. This will remove one of the main barriers to their entry into academic studies and future integration into the job market, paving the way for the creation of a high-quality pool of Hebrew-speaking teachers equipped with advanced technological skills.
- Construction and Development of the Campus
The College’s student population is growing steadily every year. The current learning spaces are operating at full capacity, with the need to expand them a top priority in order to preserve our commitment to academic excellence. We seek to construct a new building on campus that will serve as an innovation- and technology-driven education center, as well as to renovate the sports center in which our various physical education teacher training programs are held.
- Scholarships
We support college students with a wide, diverse range of needs: active reserve duty soldiers, Bedouin students with special needs, and students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We also award scholarships to outstanding students.
