Community Partnerships
Nibras Arabic Children’s Literacy Center
The Nibras Center operates on an academia-community partnership model, characterized by collaboration among Kaye College, local authorities, the Ministry of Education, and community organizations.
The Center’s programs and activities are developed and implemented with the participation of local professionals and community members, reflecting the unique cultural and social characteristics of the Arab-Bedouin society in the Negev.
This collaboration, based on mutuality and recognition of the unique contributions of all participating partners, enables a variety of innovative, culturally-sensitive programs that advance linguistic and social literacy, as well as reading among children.
